Love your life the way you "love your job"

So I saw two USPS workers delivering mail pieces to my apartment this morning,
Two guys in their 20s, probably 25 years old.
They don't look very enthusiastic about their job,
They're not thrilled having to deliver mails on a Sunday morning.
They're not thrilled because they know this job is just a temporary solution.
They're probably just there to work a few months and collect a few paychecks, and they'll move on to a better job.
But then something hit me,
I thought, if it's me, even if it's a temporary job, I would still love my job, because that's what I've learned to do,
Something about "having a good work ethic."
Then I thought, why does it feel "natural" and "good" to love my job, why do they not seem to love their job?
Then I realized what it means, for me, to "love my job".
When I say I "love my job",
I don't mean I love to be put in a job position and do what I was told.
I don't mean I love to spend 8 hours a day going through the repeated motions and waiting for the days to end,
And collecting paychecks every other week.
For me, "loving my job" is loving the effort I give out,
It's loving the time and energy I spend on the job,
It's loving the fact that I am capable of producing something meaningful for myself, using my own creativity, talents and gifts,
It's loving the dedication that I am capable of,
It's loving my own energy, effort and my own presence while on the job.
Then I thought,
Why am I so good at loving my job, but not so much as loving my life?
Why am I so much energized doing my job, but almost lethargic doing my life?
Growing up, why is everyone talking about loving their job, but nobody is talking about loving their life?
Then I realized,
I need to love my life the way that I love my job.
I need to love my life as much as I love my job.
Loving your life, like you were trained to love your job,
It's loving your own presence, your own energy, your own effort in living your life.
Love your life the way you love your job.
That's my message for my fellow high achievers.
